What you’ll do
As our Video Editor – Paid Social, you’ll transform founder interviews, b-roll, AI footage, and investor stories into high-performing ad creatives that help our clients raise capital directly from their communities.
Your edits will drive real business outcomes — helping founders reach their fundraising goals while creating experiences that inspire confidence, excitement, and action among investors.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Edit direct-response style ads optimized for scroll-stopping hooks, emotional storytelling, and clear CTAs that drive investment actions.
- Create and test multiple variations of each ad, experimenting with structure, messaging, pacing, and visual emphasis.
- Collaborate with creative strategists, copywriters, and performance marketers to align on messaging and audience intent.
- Review performance data (watch time, thumb-stop rate, CTR, conversions) to refine creative strategy.
- Maintain consistency with client brands while adapting tone, energy, and style for different audiences and platforms.
- Manage timelines efficiently — balancing speed and quality across multiple concurrent campaigns.
- Use AI-powered tools to accelerate production, ideation, and optimization workflows.
- Uphold compliance and accuracy standards for marketing investment opportunities.
What Skills You Need
- 3+ years of experience editing paid social ads (experience in DTC, performance marketing, or financial storytelling preferred).
- Proven ability to craft short-form videos that drive measurable results, not just engagement.
- Expertise with Adobe Premiere Pro + Adobe After Effects.
- Familiarity with ad performance metrics and creative analysis (CTR, ROAS, retention curves).
- Ability to work fast, test often, and learn from outcomes.
- Project management & organizational skills required to handle a high-volume of requests
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills — you give and receive feedback clearly and directly.
- Comfort and excitement using AI tools for editing, captioning, or creative variation generation.
