Role Overview
We are looking for a Video Editor with strong motion and design skills who can independently handle video edits while also creating video-ready graphics using Illustrator and/or similar graphic tools. This role blends editing, motion graphics, 2D animation, and design for video, and is ideal for someone who enjoys owning visuals end-to-end-from layout and design to animation and final edit.
The ideal candidate understands how design translates into motion and can create clean, animation-friendly assets that enhance storytelling.
What You'll Do:
Video Editing
- Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro for internal, marketing, and client-facing content
- Build narratives through pacing, structure, and visual flow
- Handle audio editing, cleanup, syncing, and basic mixing.
Motion Graphics & Animation
- Create motion graphics and 2D animations using Adobe After Effects
- Animate titles, lower thirds, infographics, UI-style elements, and transitions
- Maintain visual consistency across animations and edits.
Design for Video
- Design video graphics using Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop including:
- Titles, lower thirds, name supers
- Icons, charts, and infographics
- Layouts and frames for animated sequences
- Prepare animation-ready design files with clean layer structure
- Adapt designs across formats (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, etc.)
What you'll Bring:
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in video editing and motion graphics.
- Fluency in English
- Client-first mentality
- Intense work ethic
- Collaborative spirit and problem-solving approach
Strong proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop.
Solid understanding of:
- Video storytelling and editing fundamentals
- Motion design and 2D animation principles
- Design principles for on-screen and animated content
- Working knowledge of audio editing basics
Good to Have
- Familiarity with AI video tools and workflows (generative video, AI cleanup, captions, etc.)
- Knowledge of Figma for Video Storyboarding
- Exposure to DaVinci Resolve (editing, color, or audio)
- Basic knowledge of 3D tools (Unreal Engine, Blender, Cinema 4D)
- Understanding of color correction and grading basics
Portfolio Requirement
- A demo reel or portfolio showcasing:
- Video editing
- Motion graphics / 2D animation
- Designed video graphics (Illustrator → Animation)
