Video Editor (Marketing)

We are looking for a Video Editor to support content creation, post-production, and our overall organic and paid media video strategy. In this role, you will edit and refine short-form videos, optimize content for various platforms, and collaborate on scripting and creative direction. You’ll work closely with the team to enhance video storytelling, experiment with trends, and ensure high-quality production. As a Video Editor, you will:

• Edit and produce high-quality short and long-form videos for social media, website content, paid ads, and other marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to bring creative ideas to life, ensuring videos align with brand messaging and audience engagement goals.
• Experiment with bold, engaging editing styles to create visually dynamic content that stands out.
• Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring the right formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for engagement.
• Utilize motion graphics, color correction, and sound design to enhance video storytelling.
• Stay ahead of trends in video editing, social media, and marketing to push creative boundaries.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to video content.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing speed, quality, and creativity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with video editing, motion graphics, and sound design.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• General camera knowledge and on-set production experience are a plus.
• Strong post-production skills, including editing, motion graphics, color correction, sound design, and working with codecs and compression.
• Knowledge of social media standards and video formats to optimize content for different platforms.
• Ability to identify trends and editing styles while bringing original ideas to the table.
• Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment, staying calm and adaptable under pressure.'
• Collaborative and team-oriented, with strong communication and creative problem-solving skills.
• Receptive to feedback and always looking to improve editing techniques.
• Passionate about video production, particularly post-production and storytelling.
• Able to work independently while staying accountable and delivering high-quality results.
