Pearl Abyss - the company behind the highly acclaimed Black Desert franchise - is seeking a passionate and motivated Video Editor Intern for its European Publishing Office who has a keen interest in gaming and wants to gain practical experience in the industry.
Our company offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where you will work alongside experienced professionals to learn and develop essential skills relevant to your desired career paths. You will work closely with our Video editors on post-production of content creation.
As a Video Editor Intern, you will collaborate with our production team to create various content across a range of platforms that resonates with European players and will help further grow and maintain the European player base across all platforms.
You will join a dedicated team working across multiple communities, platforms and games Black Desert, and upcoming releases such as Crimson Desert, DokeV and PLAN 8.

Internship period: Flexible starting dates, internship period last for 3 to 6 months depending on program requirements
Responsibilities:
- Create and edit video content for social media and advertising campaigns, as well as community events, live broadcasts and other online content
- Develop graphics and visual effects to enhance productions using Adobe Creative Suit
- Utilize appropriate software to create advanced designs and animation
- Design and edit video pieces that strongly communicate product brand narrative, goals, and concepts.
- Work with team of video production professionals to ensure the quality of final product
- Research market and community trends to ensure maximum impact of content
- Research the latest ideas and techniques in video production, editing, and gaming to maintain innovation and growth
- You are currently studying towards your Bachelor or Master at a Dutch/ Netherlands university in Video production, Film, Digital media, Media production, or a related field
- You possess great inter-personal and communication skills and are a strong collaborator
- English language capabilities of C1 or higher (reading, writing and speaking).
- Knowledge of post-production software including Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
- Ability to multitask more than one project at the same time.
- You are avid gamer or have a proven interest in the gaming industry
- Competitive monthly internship allowance of €600~ €1000/month depending on experience
- Public Transport Expenses Coverage - maximum €400/month
