Why Join Us Now?
We’re looking for a Creative Intern for Summer 2025 to work directly with our founders on shaping the visual identity and digital presence of Burnt. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who wants to tell bold stories in a traditional industry using content and design to make the food supply chain feel personal, powerful, and alive.
You’ll help us build a brand that speaks directly to the people who keep the food world running distributors, restaurateurs, warehouse teams and show them how AI can help them win without losing their soul.
Burnt is building an agentic OS to automate how supply chain companies operate. We’re starting with the food industry—a $1T+ sector that’s been underserved by modern software and building vertically integrated AI agents that take over the manual, repetitive work ERPs were supposed to solve.
Our first product replaces the entire order management team at food distribution companies. Instead of emails, texts, and voicemails being manually keyed into ERPs, our agent understands every customer’s habits, shorthand, and preferences—and turns messy inbound communication into structured, ERP-ready orders in seconds.
- Own content creation across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and email from storytelling to visuals
- Turn the CEO’s voice and POV into human, scroll-stopping content that builds trust and sparks conversation
- Design carousels, reels, memes, and posts that make old-school operators feel seen and make our tech feel approachable
- Build a consistent aesthetic and tone for our brand that’s emotional, clear, and industry-aware
- Help capture the stories behind our customers, the wins we help drive, and the way the food world really works
- Work directly in Framer (proficiency required) to evolve our marketing site and brand presence
- Translate a complex AI product into content that makes sense and makes people care
- Creates content that feels like it came from inside the industry, not from the outside looking in
- Makes warehouse problems feel cinematic and technical wins feel human
- Finds ways to connect emotionally with an audience that’s built on hustle, relationships, and respect
- Pitches fresh ideas weekly: content drops, campaigns, interviews, behind-the-scenes looks
- Builds brand not just for Burnt but for the people we serve
- Strong design sensibility using Framer, Figma, Canva (or similar tools)
- Ability to craft and produce original short-form video or reel content (Adobe After Effects, Premiere, CapCut, etc.)
- Passion for the food industry, culture, and storytelling
- Someone who understands why the tone matters—and how to tweak it for each platform and audience
- Bold creative instincts, always grounded in empathy for the customer
- Clear communicator and fast executor, able to run with an idea and bring it to life quickly
- You have a portfolio of content you’ve built, either personal or professional
- You love food and respect the people who power it, distributors, restaurateurs, drivers, warehouse workers
- You think the best business case studies aren’t in boardrooms, they’re in kitchens, cold storage, and loading docks
- You instinctively know what kind of content lands on LinkedIn vs. Instagram vs. YouTube
- You care about the smallest details, and how they roll up into the big story
- You want to help a startup not just market a product, but build a category
- You don’t wait for permission. You pitch, test, and learn fast
We draw creative inspiration from:
- The grit, emotion, and behind-the-scenes magic of the food world
- Brands that feel more like people talking to people, not companies broadcasting
- Content that turns industry know-how into trust-building stories
- The community, chaos, and craft behind every delivery, service, and shift
- Visual and narrative styles grounded in food culture, reimagined for B2B
- Define and shape the visual identity of a fast-moving AI startup
- Build a portfolio with high-impact work seen by investors, partners, and customers
- Work directly with founders to build a category-defining voice
- Bring creativity into an industry that’s long overdue for it
