Job Duties: Develop custom financial software for client portfolios. Collaborate with stakeholders to determine quality metrics. Establish automated test framework, processes, and practices for SMA Solutions' Salesforce implementation. Drive overall quality process by advocating discipline in versioning, documentation, and deployment processes. Collaborate with the Data and System Development teams to understand Salesforce changes and coordinate any necessary deployments on our internal systems. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce Suite of applications using JavaScript/TypeScript/Java. Utilize Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD) to enhance collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Implement and execute automated tests for APls to ensure the seamless integration and functionality of Salesforce applications. Develop and execute test plans tailored to Salesforce specific functionalities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in any field and 60 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in Software Development, Software Engineering, Software Testing or closely related role. Alternative Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in any field, and 36 months of experience in Software Development, Software Engineering, Software Testing, or closely related role. Position requires three years of experience in the following skills: Salesforce data access methods, including SOQ and SOSL; API technologies including SOAP and REST API; Salesforce development tools including Apex, Lightning, and Lightning web components; Test frameworks including Selenium and Playwright; Object oriented languages including Python, JavaScript, Java, and Typescript; RDBMS and SQL; Development and deployment of test suites using DevOps; Agile development tools; Software testing for financial platforms; and Security testing.
