We’re seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President of Wholesale to lead, scale, and optimize Knix’s fastest-growing sales channel. This role will oversee all aspects of wholesale, including strategy, sales, account management, and partnerships with both retail accounts and distribution partners across North America—particularly in the U.S. market.

The ideal candidate is both a builder and a scaler—someone who can design and execute a high-impact strategy while rolling up their sleeves to get the work done. They will bring deep relationships with major U.S. retailers, proven experience growing an eight-nine figure wholesale business, and the leadership skills to guide a small but mighty team to exceptional results.

Wholesale Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop & Own Wholesale Growth Strategy: Build and execute a comprehensive strategy to scale Knix’s wholesale presence with leading U.S. and Canadian retail partners, specialty stores, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Expand & Strengthen Relationships: Leverage existing network and cultivate new relationships with key buyers, executives, and decision-makers to open doors and secure high-value partnerships.
  • Maximize Channel Revenue: Drive double-digit revenue growth through targeted account acquisition, assortment optimization, and co-marketing opportunities while protecting brand integrity.

Sales & Account Management

  • Lead a High-Impact Team: Manage and mentor a small, high-performing wholesale team to deliver exceptional account service, hit sales targets, and build long-term retail partnerships.
  • Negotiate & Secure Agreements: Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and promotional programs that drive sales and margin improvement.
  • Partner Performance: Monitor sell-through, inventory health, and account profitability, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.

Distribution Partner Oversight

  • Manage & Grow Distributor Relationships: Oversee global and regional distribution partners, ensuring they are aligned with Knix’s brand vision, sales goals, and operational standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with operations, logistics, and marketing to ensure flawless product delivery, accurate forecasting, and strong in-market execution.

Market Intelligence & Scaling

  • Analyze & Act: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform product assortments and channel strategy.
  • Scale for Growth: Design systems, processes, and best practices to sustainably grow an eight-figure wholesale business and prepare for future expansion.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years in wholesale leadership, with proven success scaling an eight-figure wholesale business in the U.S. market. Deep relationships with major U.S. retailers and specialty partners are essential.
  • Leadership: Exceptional leadership skills with experience building, motivating, and scaling small, high-performing teams.
  • Results-Driven: Proven ability to deliver sustained revenue growth while managing profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Wholesale Expertise: Mastery of wholesale sales cycles, account management, contract negotiation, and distribution partner management.
  • Strategic & Hands-On: Comfortable shaping high-level strategy while executing tactically in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Passion for Knix’s Mission: Alignment with Knix’s commitment to inclusivity, empowerment, and innovation.
