As a Liquidity Vice President in our Finance organization, you will lead a team responsible for critical internal and regulatory liquidity risk reporting for the Commercial & Investment Bank under Treasury Function, with a primary focus on EMEA (and strong connectivity to US liquidity frameworks). You will apply deep understanding of Investment Banking & Prime Brokerage products and Balance sheet dynamics—spanning Trading and Banking books, securities, secured financing, derivatives, wholesale products, and off-balance sheet items—to deliver accurate reporting, high-quality governance, and meaningful management insights.

This role requires strong people leadership, stakeholder management, and an ability to translate complex balance sheet movements into clear narratives for senior management, Treasury, Controllers, and Liquidity Risk Oversight partners.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team: Responsible for producing and leading high-quality liquidity risk reporting team across daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly cycles, ensuring strong controls, reviews, documentation, and timely delivery.
  • Own key liquidity Regulatory and Internal reporting deliverables: Including (as applicable by jurisdiction and governance) FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR, RLAP / liquidity stress testing, STWF and CCAR-related liquidity reporting and analysis.
  • Drive variance analytics and storyboarding: Identify key drivers of period-over-period movements, explain balance sheet and liquidity impacts, and deliver crisp variance commentary for senior and regional stakeholders.
  • Provide EMEA-focused liquidity expertise: While maintaining strong alignment to global (including US) liquidity risk frameworks, methodologies, assumptions, and regulatory expectations.
  • Apply deep product and balance sheet knowledge (secured financing, derivatives, prime/wholesale products, securities, commitments, deposits, and other on/off-balance sheet exposures) to assess liquidity impacts and support business decisions.
  • Partner with Treasury, LoB Controllers, Liquidity Risk Oversight, and global teams (e.g., FALMA, CTMO and other stakeholder groups) to ensure consistent data, methodology alignment, and escalation of issues/risks.
  • Strengthen the control environment by ensuring robust reconciliations, issue management, change governance, data lineage awareness, and audit/regulatory readiness for all owned reports and processes.
  • Lead process improvement and transformation initiatives, including standardization, automation, and operational risk reduction across liquidity reporting, analytics, and management information.
  • Support senior management communications by preparing liquidity metrics packages, executive-ready dashboards, and briefing materials for CIB Treasury and business leadership.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience (typically 12+ years) in Treasury, Liquidity Risk, Balance Sheet Management, Product Control / Controllers, or Regulatory Reporting within a large bank 
  • Deep understanding of the Investment Bank Balance sheet & and its Line of Businesses
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with liquidity reporting and frameworks, including a strong working knowledge of LCR, NSFR, liquidity stress testing / RLAP, and familiarity with FR 2052a, STWF and CCAR liquidity reporting concepts and requirements.
  • Proven people leadership skills: ability to coach, develop talent, set clear goals, manage performance, and build an inclusive and accountable team culture.
  • Strong analytical capability with comfort working with large datasets; ability to identify root causes, quantify impacts, and translate technical detail into executive-level insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders and challenge appropriately when needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and ownership mindset; ability to manage competing priorities in a time-sensitive, control-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Investment bank experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience supporting EMEA liquidity regulatory expectations and governance, with strong connectivity to US liquidity standards and reporting practices.
  • Experience driving automation and data transformation (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Python, SQL or similar tooling), including controls-conscious implementation.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end reporting operating models (data sourcing, controls, reconciliations, change management, and documentation), and strong audit/regulatory interaction readiness.
  • Ability to operate effectively across global teams and time zones, influencing stakeholders without direct reporting lines.
