The Role

The Opportunity

Precede Biosciences is seeking an exceptional scientific leader to serve as Vice President, Translational Cancer Epigenomics and External Research Partnerships. This role will define and lead the company’s translational strategy in oncology and other disease areas, translating discoveries in epigenomic biology into clinically impactful blood-based diagnostics.

The VP will serve as a key member of the scientific leadership team, responsible for advancing the biological and clinical understanding of Precede’s epigenomic platform and ensuring that insights generated across internal and collaborative research efforts translate into high-value diagnostic products and partnerships.

This individual will play a central role in shaping Precede’s scientific direction, building strong collaborations with academic investigators and biopharma partners, and guiding the development of next-generation assays that improve drug development and patient care.

What We Do

We've experienced the significant gaps in our collective ability, as a medical and research community, to access and understand disease-defining biology when it matters most. To address this, we've developed a simple blood test to uncover actionable disease-defining transcriptional biology. Our unique genome-wide platform profiles circulating chromatin and the DNA methylome to deliver resolution into the dynamic activity of individual genes and pathways in diseased tissues from just 1mL of plasma. By partnering with developers of new medicines and advancing our own diagnostic tests, we’re working towards a world where new medicine development efforts succeed more frequently, and where anyone can receive a minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment that’s precise to the biology of their disease.
