The Delivery Enablement (DE) team supports internal stakeholders by providing a robust operational backbone across TAS, TES, OCFO, PI, IM, IB and TRS. The team includes Talent Acquisition (TA), Human Capital Management (HCM), Commercial Strategy, Marketing, Data Analytics, Accounting & Finance and Delivery Excellence. As Portage Point continues to grow, the DE team is laser focused on scalability, quality and automation.
The Vice President (VP), TA opportunity represents a unique opportunity for a highly capable recruiting professional with a proven track record of sourcing and placing top tier candidates. This is Portage Point’s first dedicated Talent Acquisition hire based in India and will be responsible for building and owning the TPI recruiting function from the ground up, in close partnership with the global TA team and local HCM leader. The Vice President, TA will work alongside the Practice Line Leaders to drive high volume and strategic recruiting outcomes across TPI. This VP will focus on flawless execution of the recruitment strategy, sourcing premier talent across various levels and delivering a best-in-class candidate and stakeholder experience, including full ownership of the end-to-end recruiting lifecycle – sourcing through offer execution.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to identify and secure top talent across various career levels
- Own end-to-end recruiting execution within an application tracking system, including requisition management, candidate communication, interview scheduling and pipeline reporting
- Run effective TA processes that decrease interview to hire ratios and increase offer extension to acceptance ratios
- Develop and deploy effective sourcing strategies
- Accurately convey the Portage Point employee value proposition and unique advantages of each role and practice line
- Deliver an efficient and highly communicative experience to candidates and stakeholders
- Manage external agency relationships and reduce overall agency spend
- Develop and execute strategic recruiting initiatives and events
- Maintain standard operating procedures, talent dashboards / reports and recruiting exhibits
- Effectively leverage TA technology and support the research and implementation of new solutions
- Accurately report activities, outcomes and flag potential opportunities and threats
- Manage process changes by developing adequate levels of awareness, desire, knowledge, ability and reinforcement
- Facilitate effective employment branding
- Champion referral bonus program and education internally around open hiring needs
- Share and manage TA best practices as well as lead internal trainings where required

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate program
- Located in or willing to relocate to Gururgram, India
- Invested in a team-based culture and motivated to collaborate in office three days per week
- Six plus years of lateral recruiting experience, primarily in sourcing out of investment banking, private equity or other financial / professional services firms
- Expert in candidate sourcing and selection
- Skillful in screening and / or behavioral interviews
- Experience with employment branding, diversity recruitment and change management
- Full-cycle, end-to-end recruiting experience within an applicant tracking system (ATS), including ownership of interview scheduling
- Direct experience with ATS management is strongly preferred, such as Lever, Greenhouse or Ashby
- Ability to successfully work independently as well as in a small, collaborative team environment
- Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy as Portage Point’s first India-based TA hire, exercising strong judgment and independent decision-making
- High degree of maturity with a proven ability to interact with senior executives
- Effectively communicates analysis through Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint including high-quality messaging, structure and formatting
- Eagerness to be responsive at all times, including flexibility to overlap with U.S. team working hours given the cross-time-zone collaboration this role requires
