Job Title: Vice President / Senior Associate, Equity Capital Markets (Healthcare)

Reports to: Co-Head of Investment Banking

Salary Range: $175,000-$250,000

This is an opportunity to become a leader within a world-class investment banking practice focused on companies in the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will serve as the primary project manager for the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team, leading the end-to-end execution of a wide array of equity and equity-linked financings, including initial public offerings, follow-ons, structured deals, and convertible debt transactions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of complex equity transactions, serving as the senior execution lead on the ECM team.
  • Act as the central project manager, overseeing day-to-day deal processes and guiding Analysts and Associates to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
  • Drive new business origination by leading the development of high-impact pitch books and strategic market thematic presentations that leverage firm-wide healthcare expertise.
  • Manage senior-level relationships with corporate clients and financial institutions, providing continuous market intelligence, tactical advice, and strategic guidance.
  • Work closely with the broader investment banking team to coordinate all aspects of client management and transaction structuring.
  • Direct syndicate coordination and manage bookrunning roles to maintain the firm’s competitive positioning as a top-tier healthcare capital markets partner.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
  • Four or more years of relevant experience in investment banking, with a significant and proven focus on Equity Capital Markets.
  • Deep sector expertise in Healthcare, Biotech, or MedTech, including a nuanced understanding of clinical trial and regulatory (FDA) milestones that drive equity issuance windows.
  • BS or BA with an exemplary academic record
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to lead high-stakes client presentations and internal investment committees.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple high-pressure workstreams in a dynamic, meritocratic, and team-oriented work environment.
