JOB PURPOSE
Manage portfolio of development programs, ensuring work is conducted as per agreed plan
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Draft programs for each development vertical (incl. timelines, budget, resources)
· Monitor DM portfolio and recommend changes based on risks/market changes
· Consolidate reports across verticals, liaising with Development Analysis and Finance teams
· Manage compass gateway process and coordinate stakeholders
· Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce frameworks, ensuring all developments comply with governance standards.
· Strategic Planning & Alignment: Ensure that individual developments align with the organization’s timelines.
· Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across all developments
· Stakeholder Management: Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
· Monitoring & Reporting: Track development progress, performance, and compliance; provide regular updates to leadership on the status of the development program through Gateways.
· Quality Control & Performance: Ensure high-quality standards are met throughout reporting of development from design development to delivery.
· By ensuring effective governance, strategic alignment, and risk mitigation, the Program Manager helps maximize the value and success of the real estate development program.
YoE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Min of 10+ years of development management experience managing from a program / project management background
YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITION
Min of 2+ years of managerial experience
FIELD OF EXPERIENCE
Real estate, Project Management
TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
Strong understanding of project management
Strong knowledge and exposure to the GCC real estate market with large master developers with annual revenue of at least AED 2 billion
Good understanding of architectural design and construction
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, land economics or property valuation
