As an Vice President, Platform Product Manager on the Identity team, you define the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for identity platform capabilities and services. You partner closely with engineering, architecture, design, data, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, reusable solutions in a regulated environment. You own outcomes end-to-end—from discovery and prioritization through delivery, adoption, and continuous optimization.
Job responsibilities- Define and drive a multi-year roadmap for enterprise identity platform capabilities and services
- Translate strategic vision into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs
- Lead discovery to understand customer and business needs and validate product direction
- Prioritize work based on business value, customer impact, risk reduction, reuse, feasibility, and strategic alignment
- Partner with engineering, architecture, design, and data teams to deliver scalable services and application programming interfaces (APIs)
- Establish platform standards, integration patterns, onboarding processes, and operating models
- Minimize one-off solutions by designing reusable capabilities that scale across teams and journeys
- Drive adoption of platform capabilities across channels and experiences and support enablement as needed
- Partner with risk, compliance, legal, cybersecurity, and privacy stakeholders to meet regulatory and control requirements
- Track and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and use insights to drive continuous improvement
- Communicate priorities, trade-offs, risks, and progress to senior stakeholders and executive leadership
- 5 years of product management experience or equivalent experience in technology or product delivery
- Demonstrated success launching and scaling technology products, platform capabilities, or major features
- Proven ability to define product strategy and translate it into multi-year roadmaps and executable plans
- Strong understanding of enterprise platforms and modern architecture concepts, including APIs, microservices, cloud technologies, data, and integration patterns
- Ability to design for enterprise-scale reuse and capability-based delivery
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with comfort navigating ambiguity
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence across a matrixed organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level storytelling and presentations
- Strong understanding of risk, controls, security, privacy, resiliency, and regulatory considerations in a regulated environment
- Bachelor’s degree
- Platform product management experience within banking, financial services, financial technology, or another regulated industry
- Familiarity with identity lifecycle management, consent management, identity graph concepts, and digital identity solutions
- Experience evaluating third-party technology solutions, including build-versus-buy decisions
- Experience managing vendor relationships
- Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications
