The Role

Midmark is seeking a Vice President of Marketing lead and advance our enterprise Marketing strategy. This role is an enterprise growth and transformation leader responsible for shaping Midmark's market strategy and translating customer, competitive and market insights into strategies that accelerate sustainable revenue growth, market share expansion, profitability and long-term enterprise value across the Medical, Dental, Veterinary and Services businesses.

This role positions marketing as a strategic business function that strengthens Midmark's competitive position through customer-centric growth strategies, commercialization excellence, brand leadership and measurable business outcomes.

This role is located at our corporate headquarters (Versailles, OH) with an in-office expectation of 4 days/week.

What You'll Lead

Enterprise Marketing & Growth Strategy

  • Leads development and execution of Midmark's enterprise marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, long-range planning and enterprise growth priorities.
  • Positions marketing as a strategic growth function by translating customer, competitive and market insights into business strategies that accelerate revenue growth, profitability, market share and long-term enterprise value.
  • Monitors evolving customer expectations, market dynamics, competitive activity, technology trends and channel economics; proactively recommends enterprise strategies that position Midmark to rapidly adapt to changing market conditions and emerging growth opportunities.

Omnichannel Strategy & Commercialization

  • Develops and evolves Midmark’s omnichannel commercial strategy and customer experience, enabling customers to engage and purchase through integrated channels while reducing friction throughout the customer journey
  • Leads enterprise commercialization strategies that maximize market adoption, portfolio performance, pricing effectiveness, customer value and post-launch business results.
  • Partners with Sales leadership to optimize pricing strategies, channel effectiveness, customer acquisition and volume/mix performance, ensuring commercial investments generate sustainable profitable growth.

Digital Marketing & Brand Leadership

  • Leads enterprise digital marketing strategy and execution, including digital platforms, marketing technology, analytics, AI-enabled marketing, digital customer engagement and data-driven decision making.
  • Directs enterprise brand strategy, positioning, messaging and customer experience to strengthen Midmark's market differentiation and reinforce a consistent brand experience across all customer touchpoints.

Portfolio & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partners with Upstream Marketing, Research and Development, Customer Engagement and business leadership to ensure portfolio strategies, customer insights and commercialization priorities translate into measurable business outcomes.
  • Collaborates across executive leadership to align growth priorities, customer experience, commercial capabilities, resource investments and transformation initiatives that strengthen Midmark's long-term competitive advantage.

Organizational Capability & Marketing Performance

  • Develops organizational capabilities that strengthen marketing's strategic impact, including organizational design, digital dexterity, leadership development, succession planning and talent acquisition.
  • Establishes enterprise marketing performance measures that connect marketing investments to business outcomes including revenue growth, market share, pricing realization, customer acquisition, digital engagement, commercialization success and profitability.

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering, science or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree, preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressively responsible marketing, commercial or general management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated success developing enterprise growth strategies, leading commercialization initiatives, making pricing and portfolio decisions and delivering measurable business results.
  • Experience within medical technology, healthcare, dental, veterinary or another regulated business-to-business industry, preferred.
  • Experience leading digital marketing, brand management, customer insights and marketing operations, preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Expert knowledge of enterprise strategy, growth leadership, organizational leadership and business transformation.
  • Expert knowledge of downstream marketing, commercialization, omnichannel go-to-market strategy and customer value ecosystem design.
  • Expert knowledge of brand strategy, customer experience, digital marketing, marketing technology and enterprise digital capability development.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of customer insight, market segmentation, Jobs to Be Done methodologies and outside-in market strategy.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of portfolio, pricing, channel strategy, volume/mix optimization and commercial performance management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial management, forecasting, budgeting, business case development and marketing performance measurement.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of organizational design, talent development, succession planning and building high-performing teams.
  • Expert leadership, executive communication, collaboration and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise change leadership, adaptability, continuous improvement and cross-functional execution.
  • Ability to balance customer outcomes, commercial growth, competitive differentiation, operational effectiveness and financial performance to achieve enterprise business objectives.

Leadership Scope

This executive leads through a team of managers and has full responsibility for personnel decisions, including hiring, performance management, and termination. The Vice President establishes the strategic direction, priorities, and goals for the Marketing function.
