The Vice President of marketing  will help build the brand for the Motorized Appliance Category inclusive of blenders, processors, juicers, ice cream makers. In parallel, the Vice President will build the marketing and commercialization strategy for all new global launches. This person will build and establish the marketing organization to deliver on global revenue goals, establish Ninja brand in global market expansion, and ensure to deliver on key category & business needs. This person will have a critical lens on existing portfolio strategy/health while also working with creative, media, and communication teams on new product positioning and launches.

Responsibilities:
  • Track monthly performance of category (and sub category within the business) to ensure marketing campaigns are delivering on goals, ensuring growth in new launches, and helping to protect existing.
  • Build and lead the marketing organization to build and ensure execution of all go to market plans including product marketing positioning across all consumer touch points (Full Funnel Integrated Marketing Communications) 
  • Work with sales and category management for sell-in strategy, retailer placement, and channel management across key launches 
  • Communicate and review all commercialization strategies with the executive team, present insights, and recommendations, and align on a path forward. 
  • Own product roadmap with product development and engineering to ensure long term growth across new and adjacent categories. 
  • Lead and mentor a team of brand marketers to implement on-time and on-brand execution of all key initiatives, campaigns, and deliverables. 
  • Develop and execute brand guidelines to ensure a cohesive brand experience across all potential internal and external audience touchpoints. 
  • Develop consumer insights to not only ideate new products but also to optimize the products throughout the commercialization process; lead innovation testing to prove out ideas with consumers. 
  • Manage global revenue goals and P&L to deliver on category goals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 15+ years of prior Marketing experience required, preferably with direct responsibility for Brand strategy, messaging, commercialization, and P&L management. 
  • Deep experience in CPG marketing. 
  • Experience in managing, building, and growing teams in a global context 
  • Experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing programs and campaigns. 
  • Experience in creative strategy development, advertising and launching new products. 
  • Experience in launching products globally across several different markets. 
  • Bachelor’s required and MBA preferred.

Must be on site 3x a week (Minimum) in our Needham, MA office
