As Vice President (VP), Global Brand Creative, you will set the global benchmark for what Arc'teryx brand creative looks, feels, and sounds like — leading the team that brings our brand to life across every consumer touchpoint.
This leader owns the creative vision and execution behind our most important brand initiatives, translating brand strategy into work that is unmistakably Arc'teryx: elevated, authentic, and built for the outdoors we serve. You'll drive the creative standards, systems, and talent required to scale brand excellence globally, while ensuring creative shows up cohesively across campaigns, product storytelling, retail, digital, and partner channels.
This is a high-impact leadership role combining creative excellence, brand stewardship, and organizational leadership. You'll report to SVP, Global Brand Marketing and partner closely with Marketing, Digital, Retail, and Product to ensure creative execution is connected to commercial and brand outcomes.
Ideally this role is based out of our North Vancouver office.
Meet Your Team:
The Brand Creative team is hands on and iterative; building creative with the same passion embodied in our product creation. Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, Photographers, Filmmakers, Architects, and Craftspeople represent a wide spectrum of skills to be deployed. The team is comfortable behind the pen and on an exposed ridgeline.
If you were the VP, Global Brand Creative now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Setting the creative vision for the brand, reflecting our distinct brand ethos and creative identity, establishing the global benchmark for how Arc'teryx comes to life across all consumer touchpoints. Leading and inspiring our in-house brand creative team and aligning the team around shared objectives.
- Overseeing the evolution of our brand's visual identity, ensuring creative work consistently represents our values and maintains the integrity of that identity across all initiatives and campaigns
- Developing disruptive, cut-through and highly relevant global brand campaigns and 360 initiatives that bring the brand to life in a deeply authentic manner, for a diverse range of consumers.
- Championing executive-level creative strategy encompassing brand, and product storytelling, building conviction and inspiring key stakeholders at key brand and business milestones.
- Owning the in-house creative production pipeline — photography, film, and digital content — from concept through delivery, ensuring output is both craft-driven and efficient at scale
Driving the continual evolution of the brand’s content and operating system to keep pace with consumer behavior, digital developments. Partnering with operational peers to build a robust global x regional creative and content model to support local consumer needs. - Building a culture of belonging within the brand creative function, embedding Arc'teryx values into every aspect of brand strategy
- Establishing a collaborative operating rhythm within the Brand Leadership team and cross-functionally across the company with channel, regional and functional leaders
- Defining, refining, and measuring the success of creative campaigns in lockstep with brand strategy, connecting creative excellence to brand health and commercial outcomes

- You have a degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field, and 15+ years of experience in a communications or creative leadership role within a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- You have a strong portfolio demonstrating creative leadership across global brand campaigns, art direction, and visual storytelling
- You have a deep respect for the outdoor and mountain environment and culture
- You have led global and regional creative teams in supporting a DTC oriented business
- You have extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and associated design tools, with strong depth of experience across art direction, photography, film, graphic design, architecture, and digital UX
- You set a clear vision, align your team around common objectives, and foster commitment to deliver
- You are an inspiring leader who keeps your team focused and motivated, while removing barriers and seeking clarity

This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
