Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and prototype mobile native customer applications for phones and tablet devices for internal and external use.

Participate in full application development lifecycle, including concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release to the application store.

Perform high-level and low-level design, as well as provide pseudo code and implement the prototypes and conduct design reviews.

Work with architecture team and product teams on framework design analysis, new product ideas, prototypes, and estimates.

Create low-level design artifacts independently and high-level design artifacts with guidance and support prototyping through the creation of POCs.

Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of products, processes, and tools.

Utilize architectural patterns including MVP, MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture in order build mobile native features.

Utilize RESTful APIs and mobile libraries for networking and dependency injection including Retrofit and Okhttp.
-
Utilize Android SDK, Java, J2EE, Kotlin, Git, and Web services to build native mobile features.
-
Perform profiling and debugging mobile applications and writing automated tests.

Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related; and
-
5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:

Utilizing architectural patterns including MVP, MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture in order build mobile native features;

Utilizing RESTful APIs and mobile libraries for networking and dependency injection including Retrofit and Okhttp;
