Responsibilities
Develop and deliver complex software requirements to accomplish business goals.
Ensure that software is developed to meet functional.
non-functional and compliance requirements.
Code solutions, unit tests and ensure the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear robust and well-tested interfaces.
Utilize familiarity with development and testing practices of the bank.
Participate and guide team in estimating work is necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements.
Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.
Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance).
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related: and
5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
Enhancing enterprise scale reconciliation platforms for securities and exchange-traded derivatives (ETD) front-to-back trade processing, handling high volume, multi asset class transaction flows, including post settlement operations, break investigation, exception management, and reconciliation workflows;
Designing, developing, and implementing system integrations using industry standard financial messaging protocols, including SWIFT (MT/MX) and FIX, to enable accurate and timely transmission of trade, confirmation, and settlement data across upstream and downstream systems;
Applying Agile software development methodologies, including Test Driven Development (TDD), to build, test, and deliver system enhancements aligned with business requirements and Product Owner specifications;
Executing complex SQL programming and database performance tuning on Microsoft SQL Server to optimize batch processing, reduce reconciliation cycle times, and improve throughput of trade and settlement modules;
Designing and developing ETL (Extract Transform Load) workflows and reporting solutions in Agile methodology using Microsoft SSIS, SSRS, and Python, supporting data integration, operational reporting, and reconciliation analytics; and,
Utilizing DevOps tools including Ansible, Jenkins, and Bitbucket to automate build pipelines, manage configuration, support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and ensure consistent delivery of reconciliation system components.
