  • Own the design, cadence, and execution of GDIT's annual strategic planning process from environmental scan through commitment-setting

  • Evolve and refresh the VIA strategy as market dynamics, customer mission needs, and competitive positioning shift

  • Own GDIT's market sensing and competitive intelligence function (e.g., customer trends, budget signals, competitor moves, technology shifts) and translate signals into strategic recommendations

  • Translate the strategy into clear priorities, measurable outcomes, and resource commitments by function, Division and Sector

  • Lead strategy refresh cycles, scenario planning, and long-range planning in partnership with Finance

  • Support the integrated planning process across growth pipeline, financial commitments, capital allocation, and workforce

  • Partner with Finance and the Pricing organization to ensure go-to-market pricing strategy is aligned with the enterprise financial model

  • Partner with the Chief Technology Officer to align enterprise strategy with GDIT's solution partner program, emerging technology direction, and internal technology investments

  • Ensure technology investment choices are informed by strategic priorities and customer mission demand

  • Partner with the Chief Marketing Officer to ensure GDIT's strategy is reflected in a consistent external narrative across customers, partners, industry, and analysts

  • Partner with Government Relations to carry GDIT's strategic narrative to key stakeholders in the legislative and executive branches

  • Lead enterprise transformation initiatives sponsored by the leadership team, from design through delivery

  • Partner with the Centers of Excellence to ensure they deliver measurable enterprise impact and remain aligned to VIA priorities

  • Establish the discipline, governance, and measurement to ensure transformation initiatives deliver intended outcomes

  • Partner with the Vice President of Corporate Development to ensure inorganic growth via M&A, partnerships, and strategic investments and is aligned to and informed by enterprise strategy

  • Inform investment theses, target screening, and portfolio shaping decisions

  • Operate as a daily partner to the GDIT Leadership Team, providing analytical support, structured options, and decision recommendations

  • Prepare strategic content for the President and senior leadership engagements

  • Build trusted relationships across the GDIT Leadership Team to accelerate decision velocity and execution discipline
