Who we're looking for...

BombBomb’s Vice President of Engineering oversees all technology functions within the organization. They lead the software engineering practice through detailed domain knowledge, process refinement, and team-building. The VP of Engineering leads the information technology practice in empowering BombBomb’s employees to achieve their collective best, while maintaining secure systems and practices. They also contribute to honing the strategic vision of the company through conversation, research and measurement. The VP of Engineering represents BombBomb to the broader industry through teaching, outreach and hiring.

What you will do...

• Consistently delivers compelling, reliable technology products to customers and partners
• Develops, hires, refines and grows BombBomb’s Engineering Organization to be constituted by top talent continuously
• In concert with the VP of Product, the VP of Engineering leads BombBomb’s product strategy to deliver life-changing software to people all over the world
• Through the IT organization and collaboration with department heads, the VP of Engineering serves the Executive, CS, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Technology teams with technology solutions that enable them to exceed their goals
• Delivers a company-wide security and compliance practice that ensures BombBomb customers, employees and partners a trustworthy and defensible operating environment
• Builds consensus, momentum and follow-through for challenging company-wide undertakings with the leadership team
• Stays abreast of technology trends across industries and borders, keeping BombBomb at the forefront of understanding where business and consumer technology is trending
• Maintain company Patent portfolio and implement an intellectual property protection strategy. 
• Regularly speaks at conferences and meetups, demonstrating BombBomb’s high level of technology excellence, and building a pipeline of technology practitioners
• Continuously maintains a valuable personal relationship with technical leadership staff
• Partners with more than six institutions of Computer Science education to maintain a pipeline of talented technology practitioners
• Plan and deliver on budget quarter over quarter with finance and technology leadership

Compensation:

The total compensation range for this position is $XXX - $XXX annually. Final compensation for this role is determined by a variety of factors, such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
