Vice President of Engineering and Product

Luminary Cloud helps engineering companies be more competitive by getting to market faster, creating new, better products, and reducing development risk. We do this with our Physics AI platform, the fastest and easiest way to build and deploy models to understand and instantly predict physical reality with precision. Key Duties, Responsibilities, and Deliverables

• Lead product, engineering, and design functions across Luminary Cloud
  
• Define and deliver the roadmap across UI, platform, and Physics AI models
  
• Scale a world-class team of engineers, PMs, and designers
  
• Deliver high-velocity execution across multiple product lines (e.g. SHIFT models)
  
• Partner with the CEO and CTO on company and product strategy
  
• Oversee architectural quality, release cadence, and design excellence
  
• Champion customer feedback integration and field collaboration
  

Expertise and Qualifications

• Proven leadership across engineering, product, and design
  
• Background in SaaS, cloud-native platforms, and high-performance compute
  
• Experience building and shipping AI/ML-based or technical products
  
• Skilled in recruiting and developing high-performing teams
  
• Product and technical judgment in ambiguous, fast-moving contexts
  
• Strong cross-functional collaborator and executive communicator
  
• Must thrive in a high-velocity, in-office environment
  

Background and Experience

• History of success in early- or growth-stage companies
  
• Deep familiarity with developer tools, simulation, or physical systems a plus
  
• Prior experience reporting to or partnering closely with a founder/CEO
  
• Ability to lead AI/engineering-driven teams while adding operational structure
