The Position:

The VP, Data Solutions Growth is responsible for leading the commercial strategy for BPD’s data and analytics portfolio. The role focuses on expanding the reach of BPD’s data solutions within the health system market and driving sustained revenue growth. This position plays a central part in building a scalable business model for BPD’s proprietary data platform and related products.

This leader reports to the SVP, Growth and oversees all new logo acquisition for data solutions. The VP works closely with the growth team to bring forward industry feedback and work in collaboration with the product development team to commercialize existing and future products.. The role requires a balance of strategic planning, hands-on sales leadership, and consistent client feedback to support ongoing product development.

The Responsibilities:

Includes, but not limited to the following:

  • Drive sales of the data solutions and analytics portfolio, both as an integrated offering and as point solutions.
  • Lead the development and execution of revenue and growth objectives for data solutions.
  • Implement sales strategies and operational plans to support annual and long-term targets.
  • Build and refine sales and go-to-market infrastructure, including metrics, processes, and standards.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of healthcare data products, analytics trends, and buyer needs.
  • Partner with senior executives, Principals, and cross-functional teams to support coordinated business development efforts.
  • Utilize appropriate systems for prospect tracking, forecasting, territory management, and performance reporting.
  • Establish clear sales expectations and consistently deliver on targets.
  • Develop accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting models aligned with company goals.
  • Serve as a spokesperson for data product sales and market engagement.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of data architecture, APIs, integrations, and analytics workflows.
  • Build compelling technical narratives that translate product capabilities into clear, differentiated value.
  • Partner closely with product, data engineering, and data science teams to inform roadmap priorities and support complex customer and market requirements.
The Essentials:
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare sales, business development, or data solutions, with a strong track record of new business acquisition.
  • Deep, established relationships within the health system market and demonstrated experience selling into complex healthcare organizations.
  • Proven success selling data, analytics, or technology-based solutions.
  • Prior experience building, leading, and mentoring high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data products, analytics, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically.
  • Experience collaborating with product, marketing, and leadership teams to align on strategy and execution.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
