Data is critical to how the firm manages risk, serves clients, and operates efficiently. In this role, you will help deliver a high-visibility data lineage program while strengthening execution discipline through a robust program management office. You will partner across business teams, technology teams, and control partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and drive timely decisions. This is a hands-on opportunity for a program leader who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments.
As a Vice President, Data Lineage Program Manager in the Firmwide Chief Data Office Strategy and Execution team, you will deliver data lineage workstreams from initiation through production launch while also building and running the program management office capability. You will assemble and maintain an integrated program roadmap across business lines, corporate functions, and technology teams. You will run the execution cadence through governance, reporting, communications, and integrated planning routines. You will drive assigned delivery workstreams end-to-end through completion.
You will help teams align on clear outcomes, ownership, and completion criteria, enabling comparable results and consistent implementation evidence. You will also provide senior stakeholder-ready updates that support decisions and keep delivery on track.
Job responsibilities
- Partner with business and technology workstream leads to translate outcomes into an integrated plan with clear ownership, milestones, dependencies, and evidence expectations.
- Manage assigned workstreams end-to-end, including planning, requirements, execution, and transition to production launch.
- Define common definitions and completion criteria to enable comparable outcomes and consistent implementation evidence across teams.
- Lead governance forums and routines to maintain stakeholder alignment and drive timely decisions.
- Deliver regular status updates, communications, and action tracking to stakeholders across functions.
- Identify risks, issues, and roadblocks early; drive mitigation plans and escalate when needed.
- Produce executive-ready reporting, metrics, and performance updates for senior stakeholders.
- Establish and operate program management office mechanisms, including governance, cadence, and communications.
- Implement standardized processes, templates, tools, and a consolidated reporting pack.
- Maintain a single integrated roadmap across business and technology plans, including sequencing, dependencies, critical path, and resourcing constraints.
- Track day-to-day program hygiene, including risks, actions, issues, decisions, dependency tracking, and escalation preparation.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Seven years or more of relevant industry experience in program delivery, governance, risk, controls, data, or technology change.
- Proven experience delivering data lineage programs across complex data ecosystems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-scale, cross-functional programs in a large, complex organization, including senior stakeholder governance and escalations.
- Demonstrated ability to build and run program management office capabilities, including governance, reporting, stakeholder management, and integrated planning.
- Ability to manage tight timelines and multiple concurrent deliverables across business, technology, and control partners.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, including the ability to translate complex topics into clear updates for senior stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to drive alignment across teams with differing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and common program and project management tools.
- Working knowledge of delivery methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
