You’re a strategic, hands on engineering leader who thrives at the intersection of CRM/MarTech activation, enterprise data platforms, and large scale integration platforms. You balance long term architectural vision with the ability to deep dive into complex data pipelines, operational issues, or cross functional program blockers. You’ve scaled engineering organizations, led managers and hybrid teams, and built robust, API driven and event driven platforms that power personalized customer experiences across marketing, e commerce, stores, and client services.You’re passionate about shaping a Customer 360 that works across channels, building modern data platforms ready for AI/ML, enforcing data governance and privacy, and creating integration ecosystems that are reliable, observable, and secure. A Day in the Life:
The typical day is… atypical. Your Key Responsibilities may include.
- Lead engineering strategy across CRM/MarTech, enterprise data, analytics, and integration platforms, ensuring a unified ecosystem aligned to business priorities.
- Define architecture standards, canonical data models, API governance, data SLAs, and modernization roadmaps.
- Build, lead, and scale high-performing engineering teams, including internal leaders, technical program management, and vendor squads.
- Oversee Customer 360, segmentation, clienteling, and email/SMS marketing platforms to enable personalized, cross-channel customer engagement.
- Advance enterprise data platforms, ingestion pipelines, data quality frameworks, metadata, lineage, BI capabilities, and AI/ML enablement.
- Own and scale the enterprise integration backbone, including ESB, event streaming, integration standards, SLAs, and observability practices.
- Manage the full integration lifecycle from planning and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Drive enterprise data governance, including data quality, access controls, retention, privacy, compliance, and secure platform operations.
- Establish operational excellence practices such as incident management, runbooks, telemetry, reliability targets, and scalable support models.
- Partner with executives, business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to align priorities, manage risks, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

- 18+ years of overall experience in software/data engineering, with at least 10 years in leadership roles and 5 years managing managers or multi‑layer engineering organizations.
- Proficiency in a modern programming language such as Python or Java.
- Deep experience with distributed systems and large‑scale data platforms (e.g., BigQuery or similar).
- Experience leading Enterprise Service Bus and implementing event‑driven and messaging‑based integrations.
