We are currently experiencing rapid growth through both organic and inorganic means and are in search of a Vice President, Corporate Controller, to lead our global accounting function. 

As the VP, Corporate Controller, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing new procedures, systems, and controls to support the finance function as it scales during this growth phase. Additionally, you will lead the financial and accounting integration efforts of new acquisitions, oversee global compliance, and act as the primary point of contact with external investors.

 

This is a highly impactful and hands-on role where your technical expertise and business acumen will complement an already seasoned team of professionals. You'll report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and have a broad scope of responsibilities and exposure across the company, including interaction with the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage a global team of financial professionals (60+) with various financial backgrounds. 
  • Implement financial systems and controls to mitigate misstatements and ensure accuracy.
  • Ownership of financial reporting deliverables required for external lending groups. 
  • Ownership of the accounting compliance function, including Global US Audit, local statutory compliance, payroll & sales/use tax
  • Lead the global tax and treasury function and determine appropriate changes to corporate structure to minimize the tax burden in a highly international environment.
  • Lead M&A integration efforts. Participate in cross-functional leadership teams, identify risk areas and transition financial results into Bullhorn processes/procedures.
  • Perform financial due diligence over potential M&A targets.
  • Participate in preparing sell-side diligence in company fundraising events.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Comprehensive & well-rounded technical GAAP accounting skills.
  • Minimum five years of experience with the SaaS business model in the software industry.
  • Experience working with private equity-backed technology companies is preferred.
  • Strong/Advanced MS Excel & Google Suite skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field plus active CPA.
  • Minimum ten years of relevant experience.
  • Experience operating and scaling in a multi-national, high-growth environment.
  • Strong understanding of purchase accounting and consolidation of new entities.
