As a Vice President, Business Strategy and Operations within Chase Co-brand, you will be accountable for the end-to-end management of strategic operations, organizational effectiveness, and team culture. You will serve as a key advisor to senior leadership. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, exceptional communicator, and proven operator with a track record of leading complex initiatives at scale.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Set and execute the strategic vision for business management and operations, aligning objectives with broader business goals.
  • Oversee, prepare, and deliver executive communications—including EMRs, business reviews, OKR management, status tracking for all rewards portfolio projects, and strategic updates—to senior executives.
  • Develop a well-understood narrative of the United Cobrand product’s strategy and vision, and draft team-wide and enterprise-level communications to ensure transparency, alignment, and collaboration.
  • Oversee and drive talent management processes, including year-end reviews, ratings and compensation, promotion decisions, skillset inventory, guidelines for ratings, VP/ED platform management, and key hiring activities.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture by strengthening connections through new touchpoints including regular feedback gathering and team events
  • Lead and facilitate team offsites and team wide meetings
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies, process improvements, and best practices to drive productivity and performance across team integrating AI tools.
  • Own day-to-day Cobrand Controls execution, including contractual obligation tracking, audit readiness, and maintenance of the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework.
  • Partner cross-functionally to plan, solve issues, and drive continuous improvement through control initiatives, self-assessments, root-cause analysis, and ongoing process monitoring.
  • Promote a proactive risk and control culture within the Cobrand Marketing team using proven evaluation methods and sound change management.
  • Oversee contract compliance and SLA adherence, including identifying and managing required amendments.

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in business strategy, operations, and project leadership within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, business management, and operational leadership at scale.
  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating integrity, accountability, and sound judgment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint), LLM and other collaboration tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

  • Track record of driving organizational transformation and operational excellence.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and presentation abilities.
  • Able to work independently, build relationships across levels, and deliver projects end-to-end.
  • Working knowledge of risk and control concepts, including the ability to design and evaluate RCSA.
  • 5 years of relevant experience (controls/audit/QA/risk management) preferred.
