VFX Artist

We are looking for a passionate and skilled VFX Artist to bring life, energy, and polish to our casual mobile games. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing impactful visual and particle effects that enhance gameplay and elevate the overall player experience. You’ll work closely with a dynamic team of game designers, developers, animators, and artists in a collaborative environment where creativity meets precision.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement fluid, responsive visual effects in Unity for gameplay elements
• Ensure all VFX assets are optimized for mobile platforms without compromising quality
• Continuously iterate and refine effects to align with the game’s artistic vision and feel.
• Collaborate with developers to seamlessly integrate VFX into gameplay
• Provide creative solutions to technical and artistic challenges in visual effects
• Contribute to defining the visual identity of a game that will stand out in the market

• Strong proficiency in Unity’s Particle System
• Solid understanding of animation principles and basic physics (weight, gravity, inertia, etc.)
• Experience with tools like Photoshop (or equivalent) for creating VFX sprites and textures
• Passion for mobile games and a deep interest in game development
• Familiarity with art production pipelines and workflows
• Knowledge of Unity Shader Graph is a big plus
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• A proactive mindset with a passion for crafting high-quality, polished visuals
