Anduril is seeking a professional to support the CI and Security Investigations team who is interested in a unique opportunity to help strategize, socialize and implement new programs and initiatives around people risk vetting which requires significant critical thinking, creativity, complex problem solving and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently across a rapidly growing, global, dynamic organization. The CI & Security Investigations Vetting Program Manager is responsible for developing and overseeing the build out of a variety of new capabilities around people risk vetting across the organization. This role will help manage various initiatives that aim to build robust screening and vetting processes to ensure Anduril is engaging with trusted and verified entities. The role will involve the technical integration of data and tools, the build out of workflows and processes, development of policies and procedures as well as the day to day operational work of triaging, analyzing and investigating and ensuring high quality, timely support is delivered. The Vetting Program Manager must be a self-starter that thrives in building programs from the ground up and is responsive to fast paced and dynamic operational and threat environments. The Vetting Program Manager must possess an understanding of CI, people risk, people/entity vetting and investigations and must have a demonstrated ability to analyze and communicate complex risks and threats as well as manage a program end-to-end.
- Develop and execute various screening and vetting initiatives to include for the workforce and visitors to meet the defense industry's unique threats and requirements and ensure Anduril is engaging with trusted entities.
- Establish and cultivate collaborative partnerships across internal stakeholders to enable the rapid delivery of solutions.
- Oversee various technical and non -technical initiatives to proactively identify potential people risk.
- Advise all levels, to include senior leadership on screening and vetting-related initiatives and events.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry counterparts to share best practices and threat intelligence.
- Lead and support investigations and assessments of identified risks and threats and drive the development of appropriate response measures.
- Develop policies, internal standard operating procedures, processes and risk frameworks to enable screening and vetting initiatives.
- Develop, inform and shape policies and procedures related to screening and vetting initiatives that are responsive to the identified threats and comply with government regulations and contractual obligations.
- Produce/oversee a variety of analysis and related investigations to support people screening and vetting initiatives.
- Monitor global intelligence and security trends to inform and drive screening and vetting initiatives.
- Develop and deliver related training and communications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Security or Intelligence Studies, Political Science, Criminal Justice or a related field.
- 8 years of relevant work experience in people risk vetting and evaluations as well as related investigations with a proven track record in managing and leading related programs and initiatives.
- Experience developing and delivering assessments and analysis for a variety of audiences to include executives that help drive and inform decision making.
- Experience leveraging critical thinking skills to creatively solve complex problems and deliver results in a fast paced environment as well as the ability to multi-task.
- Experience conducting public record research and investigations (e.g., criminal, civil, financial, corporate, property, licensing, or court records) in support of people vetting, insider threat, or CI-related assessments. Ability to synthesize public record findings with open-source intelligence and other data sets to assess credibility, relevance, and risk, and communicate findings to technical and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to leverage multiple data sets and tools to support people risk vetting activities, in particular experience conducting open source research.
- Demonstrated understanding of the intelligence threats facing the industry.
- Excellent critical thinking, collaboration, decision-making abilities and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to effectively analyze and communicate complex risks
- Program management experience
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing defense industry security and requirements of U.S. Security Clearance holders.
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance (SCI may be required).
- Familiarity with SEAD 3/SEAD 4 requirements.
- Experience developing and implementing people risk vetting, CI, Insider Threat or other complex security initiatives in private industry.
