VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time experienced Veterinary Assistant or Credentialed Veterinary Technician for Daytime Emergency. Previous emergency experience preferred.

This shift is often bustling due to multiple departments servicing patients. You will be responsible for partnering with our front desk team to help keep owners informed of their pets' status and coordinating patient care with other departments when necessary. It is essential that the selected candidate takes initiative on patient treatments, asks for help when unsure, and communicates with clients and team members in a healthy and considerate manner. We aim to promote a team in which it's okay to not know and where mistakes are opportunities for growth and learning. - Experience working as a veterinary assistant or credentialed veterinary technician
- Registered or credentialed veterinary technician qualifications, where applicable
- Previous emergency veterinary experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and veterinary team members
- Ability to initiate patient treatments and coordinate patient care across departments
