Experienced Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician

🕐 Schedule: Full-Time Preferred (Part-Time Considered) Weekdays 7:45am–6:30pm, Saturdays 8:45am–12:30pm
💵 Pay Range: $15–$18/hour (based on experience)

As an AAHA-accredited hospital with a long-standing reputation for compassionate, high-quality care, we are expanding our support team to meet growing patient demand. We are actively hiring Veterinary Assistants or Technicians to support our three-location practice, help strengthen our evolving team culture and provide top-tier care to our loyal client base. Who You Are:
- An experienced Veterinary Assistant with strong technical skills in:
- Patient restraint, blood draws, IV catheter placement, vaccine protocols
- Anesthesia monitoring and client communication
- A dependable and adaptable team player who brings energy and positivity to work
- Strong communicator, capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-doctor environment
- Comfortable with rotating Saturday availability and committed to excellent attendance
- Eager to contribute to a team-first culture and support a positive work environment
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in patient care, surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and diagnostics
- Support our DVMs during appointments, exams, treatments, and procedures
- Perform hands-on tasks including restraining, catheter placement, and injections
- Communicate clearly with clients on treatment plans, patient updates, and protocols
- Ensure medical records are complete and accurate
- Collaborate with other team members to promote hospital efficiency and workflow
- Participate in continuing education and contribute ideas to hospital improvement efforts
- Embrace mentorship, growth, and ongoing skill development in a structured, supportive environment
