Job Description:
We are looking for a Vertex AI / MLOps Engineer to support the migration and automation of our machine learning workflows to Google Cloud Platform. You will work closely with data scientists to implement CI/CD pipelines, operationalize ML models using Vertex AI, and help upskill the internal team in MLOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage ML workflows using Vertex AI components: Workbench, Pipelines, Model Registry, and Monitoring
- Automate the training, evaluation, and deployment of ML models
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for MLOps
- Collaborate with data science teams for integration and deployment
- Provide documentation and hands-on knowledge transfer to internal teams
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Vertex AI or similar platforms (SageMaker, Azure ML, etc.)
- Solid understanding of ML model lifecycle and MLOps principles
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python and common ML libraries
- Ability to work cross-functionally in cloud-native environments
Nice to Have:
- Direct experience with Vertex AI in production environments
- Exposure to GCP services like BigQuery, AutoML, or AI Platform
- Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
