Working as part of the Venue Management team, the ECR Coordinator will help maintain situational awareness by updating logs, supporting issue tracking, and assisting with the coordination of responses to incidents and operational requests. They will work collaboratively with all functions to ensure accurate reporting and smooth, coordinated venue operations.
The role is Deputy Manager Level.

The role will initially be based at the Organising Company’s Glasgow city centre office, with visits to competition venues as required to support the effective delivery of responsibilities. As the Games approach, the role will transition to being primarily based at your assigned competition venue.
The position is initially contracted for 37.5 hours per week (with a 30-minute lunch break), with office attendance aligned to the Organising Company’s working pattern. During the Games-time operational period, shift patterns will apply and may include evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the venue’s ECR system, logging incidents, updates, and requests accurately and in real time.
- Support the Venue Operations Centre (VOC) Manager with information management and situational awareness.
- Track the progress of reported issues, ensuring timely resolution or escalation as required.
- Liaise with functional area representatives to verify details, gather updates, and ensure information accuracy.
- Prepare and distribute regular situation reports, summaries, and updates for the venue team and central command.
- Maintain communication logs, incident templates, and essential reference documents in line with protocol.
- Support shift changeovers by ensuring clear handovers and consistent recording practices.
- Assist with readiness exercises, briefings, and VOC setup and close-out activities.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency, professionalism, and teamwork of the Venue Management function.

Experience
- Experience in event operations, command centre, or information management roles within a major sporting or multi-day event environment.
- Strong data entry, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities under pressure.
- Proven experience working with communication or reporting systems and tools.
- Confident in working in a fast-paced, high-volume operational centre environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with digital reporting systems.
