This position is a full-time, in-person position reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer. As a Vendor Management Analyst, you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships and ensuring they are following company policies and standards. You will work closely with our Compliance Project Manager to onboard new vendors and perform due diligence checks, as well as maintain existing vendor relationships. A key aspect of your role will be to analyze vendor performance and identify areas for improvement. You will be expected to provide regular reports on vendor performance, including tracking KPIs and identifying discrepancies for already existing vendors. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues and negotiate contract terms with vendors. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform regular audits of vendor invoices and payments to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct research to identify potential new vendors and evaluate existing vendor performance.
- Analyze vendor performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of vendor information, including contracts, pricing, and performance metrics.
- Communicate regularly with vendors to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure vendor needs are met and issues are resolved.
- Monitor vendor compliance with company policies and procedures and identify and address any discrepancies.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities by negotiating favorable pricing and contract terms with vendors.
Skill and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze vendor data and identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders, negotiate contracts and service level agreements, and present findings and recommendations too management.
- Knowledge of procurement and vendor management best practices, including vendor selection, contract management, performance tracking, and vendor risk management.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to learn and improve vendor management processes and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting preferred but not required, related field or equivalent work experience,
- 2+ years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Vendor Management, Project Management, or Data Analyst
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and requirements, including banking regulations and tax laws.
- Experience working with banks, financial institutions, and other external partners.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
