What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga

In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering high‑quality vehicle testing services that meet AA and NZTA standards. Your day‑to‑day will include:

  • Carrying out accurate and compliant Warrant of Fitness (WOF) inspections, ensuring all checks meet AA and NZTA processes and quality expectations.
  • Providing clear, complete written and verbal reports, helping customers understand your findings in a way that’s easy to follow.
  • Referring and promoting products and services that genuinely meet customer needs, supporting the wider AA service offering.
  • Assisting the Manager or Team Leader with investigating customer service issues when required, ensuring any concerns are resolved professionally.
  • Building strong, positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keeping up to date with changes to technology, systems and processes, and actively contributing ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Following all Health & Safety requirements to ensure a safe environment for yourself, your team, and the public.

About You | Mōu

You’re someone who brings strong technical capability along with a customer‑first mindset. You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Hold a valid Warrant of Fitness authority (COF Certification is a bonus).
  • Have at least three years of recent automotive industry experience and a clean full New Zealand driver licence.
  • Are comfortable working in a hands‑on, safety‑focused environment.
  • Are genuinely passionate about automotive work, with great attention to detail and pride in the quality of your inspections.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, able to translate technical terms into easy‑to‑understand language for customers.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, building trust and putting people at ease throughout the inspection process.
  • Are adaptable and comfortable learning new systems, processes, and technology as they evolve.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
