Vanuatu: Learning Centre Coordinator (Luganville)

The Welfare and Self-Reliance Department (WSR) is seeking to appoint a Learning Centre Coordinator who will be based at Luganville District Centre. This position is fixed-term, full-time for one (1) year and reports directly to local WSR Manager.

The purpose of this role is to provide multi-function service and support to the Learning Centre, helping advance the Church’s mission to assist all of God’s children in coming unto Jesus Christ through learning His gospel, making and keeping covenants, and practicing Christlike love and service. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others progress spiritually and temporally while developing their own professional skills. 

• Provide multi-function support to Learning Centre operations

• Carry out assigned tasks under the guidance of the supervisor and manager

• Assist in creating a welcoming, uplifting environment for learners

• Perform general administrative and support duties

• Contribute to the mission of fostering self-reliance, covenant keeping, and Christlike love

• Complete other responsibilities as assigned

• A recognised tertiary degree is preferred, or active enrolment in tertiary studies such as BYU–Pathway Worldwide, or a recent graduate

• Relevant experience in a related field

• Industry-recognized certifications (where applicable)

• A heart for service and a willingness to learn under supervision

• Proof of legal right to work in Vanuatu

• A police background check may be required
