Essential Job Functions:

• Experience in Vantage-One/wmA is a must.

  Strong Experience in development in the following skills (COBOL, VSAM, IBM, DB2 Tools).

  Development, Coding, Customization, Product Development, Bug fixing, and Developing code by languages like JCL COBOL on Vantage-One products.

  Technical skillset Mainframe, COBOL, VSAM, IBM tools, DB2, EZT, JCL, Microfocus.

  Provide technical expertise and support to team efforts, acting as a subject matter expert in specific domains.

  Assist in solving complex technical challenges, researching and proposing solutions.

  Debug and troubleshoot production issues, working closely with operations and support teams.

  Contribute to the assessment and adoption of new technologies and best practices.

  Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and knowledge sharing.

  Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in Vantage/WMA.

  •  Strong programming and debugging skills

  • Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Good team collaboration and communication abilities

  • Willingness to take ownership of complex technical challenges

  Other Qualifications:

  Domain Life Insurance (LOMA 280 or 290 will be added advantage)

  • Relevant certifications or training a plus

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $84,100 - $156,100.
