We are looking for a Value Stream Manager to join our team. As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will be responsible for production scheduling & execution to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay. You will work closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Customer Operations and Quality to make this happen. This individual will take a lead role in continuous improvement, product flow and capacity improvement to improve the overall efficiency of manufacturing while service level targets.

SUMMARY:

This person provides overall leadership to ensure the achievement of Value Stream’s business goals. This leader will be responsible for managing their business process from customer order to customer dock.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES include the following but other duties may be assigned:

· Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.

· Responsible for ensuring compliance with all company regulations, policies and procedures for Quality System compliance.

· Responsible for ensuring compliance with all company regulations, policies and procedures for Environmental, Health, Safety compliance.

· Based on customer order requirements, works with Supply Chain to plan/schedule the fabrication and assembly of products.

· Executes the production plan by assigning personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules if needed and resolving problems related to the performance of the Value Stream.

· Works with customer operations to achieve forecast/monthly sales goals.

· Partners with other team members to execute financial commitments of the business.

· Leads all business aspects of cross functional Values Stream team to ensure goals are met.

· Partners with Engineering to lead Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives for Operations.

· Responds to and participates in corrective action implementation to observations identified in internal audits, complaints or NCRs.

· Self-sufficient in the role with minimal supervision required to ensure production goals.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering preferred, also 5+ years of experience in supervisory and leadership roles. Good written and oral English communication skills required. Demonstrated capacity to lead multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge in medical industry standards is a plus. Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt experience a plus.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Ability to work in a self-managed work team environment. Ability to work different work schedules. Proficient personal computer skills including mail, Epicor (or other MRP system), routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet and graphics. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business financials, technical procedures or drawings, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, suppliers and peers. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to solve practical problems.
