The principal serves as a senior member in Brightstar.AI delivery team, leading complex AI transformations, multi-faceted problem-solving exercises and driving significant impact both at Brightstar.AI, Brightstar Capital Partners and Portfolio companies. This role bridges senior financial, consulting and transformation expertise with emerging leadership responsibilities.
What You’ll DoDelivery
Lead the design of end to end Value Creation Plans in portfolio companies, including AI and IT/Data components (in coordination with other teams at Brightstar.AI)
Lead workstreams on large-scale AI/Digital/IT transformation engagements across strategy, operations, and organizational topics
Synthesize complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for C-suite executives and Boards
Facilitate senior client workshops and steering committee meetings
Coordinate with AI and IT areas of Brightstar.AI and Deal Team of Brightstar Capital Partners
Own end-to-end delivery of specific Value Creation Plan components with P&L delivery accountability
Team Development & Management
Supervise and mentor teams at Brightstar.AI
Conduct performance reviews and provide developmental feedback
Design team structures and work plans for optimal delivery, in coordination with AI and IT areas of B.AI
Foster collaborative, high-performance team environments
Business Development
Support Chief Delivery Officer in portco relationship management
Contribute to portfolio engagement proposals
Knowledge & Capability Building
Contribute to AI intervention practice area development and thought leadership
Mentor junior colleagues on problem-solving methodologies
Support recruitment efforts
Share insights across the Brightstar.AI and Brightstar Capital Partners through internal knowledge platforms
What You’ll Need
Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or equivalent) from top-tier institution
6-10 years of management consulting experience, finance or equivalent in industry
Significant previous experience in several of the following areas: Process optimization/ Lean / 6 sigma, AI/Digital/IT transformations
Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex projects
Strong analytical and communication skills with executive presence
