Our vacuum tool operators use vacuum tools to deposit films as part of the production of high-powered lasers. This role includes plenty of opportunities for growth within the company.
Duties:
- Operate vacuum tools to deposit films with close attention to detail according to specified operating procedures.
- Judge defects based on set criteria, including color.
- Prepare materials for production by following set procedure.
- Maintain records about the process as directed.
Required Qualifications:
- Arm-hand steadiness with good hand-eye coordination and fine motor control.
- Comfortable working with small fragile parts.
- Some experience in manufacturing or other job working with hands/tools such as auto repair, construction, etc.
- Ability to differentiate colors.
- Must have good communication skills and be able to understand and follow verbal and written work instructions.
- Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime.
- Able to work carefully, consistently and be able to identify errors.
- Familiarity with PCs, Microsoft Windows, and basic Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cleanroom experience
- Vacuum tool experience
