This role will focus on testing and validating EBI-System integration, Video Management Systems (VMS), Building Management Systems (BMS), and Fire Safety Systems to ensure seamless interoperability, compliance with standards, and optimal performance in mission-critical environments.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for system integration and validation.
- Perform functional, regression, and system-level testing across EBI, VMS, BMS, and Fire Systems.
- Validate system interoperability between subsystems including alarms, video feeds, HVAC, and fire detection.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and provide detailed reports with corrective actions.
- Collaborate with design, development, and installation teams to ensure requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.
- Document test results, maintain traceability matrices, and support audit and certification processes.
- Provide technical feedback to improve system reliability, scalability, and integration performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in system verification and validation, preferably in building automation or safety systems.
- Strong knowledge of EBI (Enterprise Building Integrator), Video Management Systems, BMS, and Fire Safety Systems.
- Hands-on experience with integration testing tools, automation frameworks, and defect tracking systems.
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, BACnet, Modbus, ONVIF) and system communication standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Honeywell EBI or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards for building automation and safety systems.
- Exposure to IoT-enabled smart building technologies.
- Certifications in ISTQB, NFPA, or BMS/Fire System standards are a plus.
