Job DescriptionJob Summary:
• The UX/UI Developer works closely with the User Experience team to translate complex business requirements into simple, elegant, browser-based user interfaces solutions.
• The candidate will maintain and govern the live UI Style Guide in collaboration with UI developers across multiple Agile teams.
• The candidate will be a driven self-starter and thrive in a fast paced, fast thinking environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
• The UI Developer operates effectively as a member of the User Experience team
• Responsible for meeting expectations and deliverables on time and in high quality
• Responsible for the development of web applications and components
• Effectively develops in a clean, well structured, easily maintainable format
• Utilizes storyboarding and graphic pre-designs where appropriate
• Demonstrates creative, technical and analytical skills
• Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environments
QualificationsJob Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Web Interface Design, or comparable professional experience required.
Experience, Knowledge and Tools:
• Experience in designing, marking up, developing the UI of websites and/or web applications
• Minimum of 3 years of web development and UI development experience is required
• Front-end skills and some basic understanding of how back-end development works
• Solid markup skills utilizing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Practical exposure and/or experience with: Angular JS; Styling CSS, SASS
• Solid understanding of UX and UI design with an emphasis on maximizing usability
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and an Agile, .NET development, team-oriented environment that the teams (not this person) are developing multi-tier SaaS products with web-based, plugin-based, mobile-based clients on the Microsoft HTM5/JS/C#/.NET/SQL Server technology stack
• A portfolio that demonstrates innovation and proven record of design success across multiple platforms
