We are seeking a skilled and adaptable UX/UI Designer to join our extended team on a flexible, project-driven basis. In this role, you will contribute to a variety of web and product design initiatives—primarily focused on admin interfaces, data-intensive user-facing applications, and internal tools.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who excels at translating complex workflows and datasets into clean, usable designs—and who can bring those designs to life with solid HTML/CSS skills.
Please note: This position is fully remote; however, candidates must reside and be authorized to work in Costa Rica to be considered.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with our internal product managers, software engineers, and stakeholders to design user-centric web experiences
- Lead or support the UX/UI design of complex administrative dashboards, reporting tools, and data-heavy interfaces
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups
- Develop and maintain design systems or UI libraries as needed
- Translate design mockups into responsive HTML/CSS
- Participate in UX research and usability testing where applicable
- Professional UX/UI design experience, with strong examples of admin tools or data-driven product UIs
- Proficient with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch)
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS (ability to code your designs a strong plus)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work
- Comfortable working independently and managing time across multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present design rationale clearly
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue)
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Background in UX research or interaction design
