The User Experience team at AutoScout24 ensures that we create the right products to deliver delight to customers by working closely with cross-functional partners to establish best practices and processes, develop an end-to-end product rollout plan, align cross-functional stakeholders on strategy, track and communicate business metrics, and help scale product knowledge throughout the organisation.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee the user experience of a product from conception to launch in partnership with product management, engineering, UX Research and UX Writing
- Cultivate a healthy design process for the team, and be a key contributor to your organisation's product strategy
- Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of AutoScout24 products
- Support growth and career progression and be an advocate for your team
- Facilitate strategic conversations and meetings to drive progress against goals
- Represent design in a variety of forums with product and engineering
What You Bring
- 5+ years of design leadership experience with direct reports under your guidance
- Understanding of the role of Design in a software development environment for e-commerce.
- Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, written as verbal
- Experience working directly with product designers, UX Researchers, and UX Writers
- Experience leading product direction and strategic thinking with the experience developing product goals, identify opportunities, and make decisions based on the impact to people and the company
- Critical eye for high-craft design
