Role profile:

The UX Lead for Risk Intelligence is a senior design leader embedded within Product Operations, responsible for elevating user experience quality and accelerating customer‑centric decision‑making across the entire Risk Intelligence portfolio.

You will shape and own the portfolio‑level UX strategy, driving discovery excellence, design governance, and creating the standards, patterns, and processes that enable product teams to deliver intuitive, trusted, and compliant user experiences.

This role spans end‑to‑end workflows, multi‑product journeys, and enterprise‑grade data experiences, ensuring alignment, consistency, and measurable improvement in customer experience across the portfolio.

This is a builder role within Product Operations—ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, brings structure to ambiguity, and is excited by establishing and scaling UX capability across a global organisation.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and evolve the UX vision and strategy for the Risk Intelligence portfolio, aligning it with product, commercial, and organisational priorities
  • Establish and lead UX standards, design systems, patterns, and governance, ensuring consistency and quality across products
  • Champion discovery excellence, embedding user research, problem framing, and validation into product development
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Data, and Go‑to‑Market teams to shape solutions from concept through delivery
  • Guide UX input across complex, multi‑product customer journeys and data‑rich enterprise workflows
  • Translate customer needs, regulatory considerations, and technical constraints into clear, elegant, and usable designs
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a UX Designer team, fostering high performance, craft excellence, and career growth
  • Act as a senior UX voice with internal stakeholders and clients, influencing decisions through insight, evidence, and design thinking
  • Define and track experience metrics to demonstrate UX impact and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the evolution of Product Operations capability, helping scale processes and ways of working globally

Required Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience in UX / Product Design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex, data‑driven or enterprise products
  • Proven leadership experience, including line management and mentoring of designers
  • Strong expertise in wireframing, interaction design, and prototyping, with advanced hands‑on experience using Figma
  • Experience working closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams in agile or product‑led environments
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at portfolio level, influencing multiple teams and products
  • Excellent stakeholder and client management skills, with the ability to communicate design decisions clearly and credibly
  • Comfortable working in regulated or compliance‑sensitive domains, balancing usability with risk and control
  • Strategic mindset combined with a willingness to roll up sleeves when needed

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing for Risk, Financial Services, Data, or Analytics platforms
  • Background in user research or service design methodologies
  • Experience establishing or scaling design systems and UX governance in large organisations
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG) and inclusive design principles
  • Exposure to change management or organisational design maturity growth
  • Experience working in global, matrixed environments
