Mediabarn is looking for a sharp, forward thinking Mid-level UX Designer with 3+ years of experience in
user interface and experience design. The ideal candidate will need to have strong visual problem
solving skills and a solid understanding of interaction design. You must be very detailed oriented, have
excellent communication skills and a passion for solving complex user interactions.
To qualify, you must have experience using research and analytics to inform design. A BS/BA in Design,
HCI or related field is preferred. Advanced knowledge of tools such as Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, Figma
or similar and having some HTML/CSS/JS experience is a plus.
You will work closely with a team of other UX, visual designers, front-end developers and project managers to design site or product improvements and additions based on business objectives, usability studies and research metrics.
You will be gathering user and project requirements to create conceptual wireframes and/or prototypes for projects, apps, and commercial products.
You will collaborate with research and members of the design team on formal & informal usability testing.
You will design and specify details of user interfaces and information architecture, and communicate concepts, ideas and design rationale with project stakeholders.

What you need to have:
A portfolio with strong web (responsive), product and/or mobile experience with mastery of design tools.
Commercial experience in creating exceptionally engaging visuals, wireframes, user flows and site maps.
Experience with the usability testing process and able to analyze results and derive actionable concepts.
Ability to multitask, quickly deliver innovative concepts and ideas that meet business needs.
Experience working alongside clients and driving strategy, brainstorming sessions and workshops.
