We are looking for a UX Designer to join our team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be working in our Design Team, specialising in Visual & Interaction design for web-based apps running on a variety of form-factors including desktop, mobile, kiosk, and slot machine. By collaborating with experts in the casino industry, software development, systems engineering, and automation, you will help to connect every user, device, and system in the casino to drive unique business value for our partners.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

• Design high-quality, consistent, innovative, and user-centric experiences across our full product portfolio.
• Analyse user requirements and product strategies to conceive and promote world-class UX.
• Produce sketches, wireframes, multi-fidelity prototypes, and user flows in Figma and other tools, accompanied by notes and annotations to aid stakeholder understanding.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to explore and refine business requirements, communicate your designs, and justify your choices.
• Contribute to a culture of design excellence and best practice within the company.
• Contribute to our Design System with atomic components, patterns, and shared vocabulary.
• Contribute to the discovery and innovation activities around the early-stage formation of new products and features.

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

• Must have strong capability to conceive, design, and promote outstanding user interfaces, experiences, and flows which match the very best of web-based applications.
• Should have a solid understanding of the principles of good Information Architecture, Interaction Design and Visual Design, typography, layout, use of colour and spacing, responsive design, etc.
• Possess strong ability in major graphic design apps, prototyping apps, and tools e.g. Figma, InDesign, Illustrator.
• Have excellent attention to detail and appreciation of how design choices impact users.
• Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to listen, learn, and build knowledge.
• Show genuine passion for your art and craft, curiosity to learn about users and business processes, and willingness to promote bold ideas.

• Experience in the casino industry or similar fields.
• Knowledge of systems engineering and automation.
• Previous experience with multi-fidelity prototyping.
• Ability to travel and engage with users directly.
