The Sportradar Orako platform is a central platform in which all Sportradar products come together as a seamless one-stop shop for operators. 

We are looking for a UX Designer with excellent knowledge of Gaming products from both an end user and operator perspective, including: 

  • Strong market knowledge and experience in the gaming industry 
  • Experience with personas and user research
  • Behaviour-based design using data
  • User research and analytics
  • Experience finding user problems to design better user flows

We are looking for a talented UX Designer with a passion for UX and visual design who can lead design process’s and demonstrate high levels of creativity from concept to production.  

 

THE CHALLENGE 

  • Working closely with senior management and the Head of Product to ensure that the company develops a user experience for our customers that drives growth in the market.  
  • Working collaboratively to produce and contribute to the product road map. 
  • Understanding and breaking down Product initiatives into requirements and Epics. 
  • Understand the business value behind feature requests and create a suitable business case for Initiatives and Epics if needed. 
  • Running experiments, research, and insights that will drive the understanding of user behavior and help create a highly competitive product in the market.  
  • Continually researching the market, our competitors, customer usage behaviour, and technology trends to ensure that we maintain market-leading products. 
  • Work through design problems from beginning to end, translating insights from research and analytics into concepts that form disruptive new products and features, and designing the detailed workflows and interactions required to make them a reality. 
  • Partner with product managers to define and evolve product roadmaps. 
  • Work closely with engineers as you build, iterate on, and ship ideas. 
  • Build a first-in-class user interface orchestrating our core advertising services. 
  • Design and maintain a consistent visual library across all our products. 
  • Lead the end-to-end design process, bringing the customer experience and the business vision/mission to life. 
  • Act as a key contributor in shaping our design culture and elevating
    design maturity across the organization
  • Develop wireframes and sketches into beautiful and intuitive user interface designs.
  • Use data and analytics to measure UX performance and iterate for improvement
  • Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback on their work

 

YOUR PROFILE 

Must haves 

  • A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work, including real-world use cases, problem-solving approaches, and final outcomes across web or mobile applications. Please include a link to your portfolio with relevant case studies in your application  
  • User-centered mindset and experience, rapidly iterating on products based on feedback 
  • Experience using data to inform design and product decisions 
  • Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (primarily Figma).
  • Experience contributing to and evolving Design Systems, ensuring consistency across products while enabling scalability and innovation.
  • Experience in frontend handover, with an understanding of component-driven design and design-to-dev collaboration (e.g., using Figma variables, tokens, Storybook, or similar tools).
  • Have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Understand layout, typography, and visual hierarchy — and apply them with consistency
  • Can balance quick delivery with polished, high-quality output
  • Have a "get it done" attitude and deliver superb work repeatedly. 
  • Communicating ideas effectively to the team and accepting critiques and feedback as part of the creative process. 
  • Being proactive, detail-oriented, and taking ownership of your work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English   

 

Nice to have 

  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React.js, and styling using Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first CSS approaches.
  • Experience with Scrum-based development 
  • Basic understanding of the product development flows for web and mobile platforms
