Hortus AI is an early-stage startup building an online marketplace to function as a Consumer Reports for AI, ranking over 2000 tools on hundreds of public interest use cases. Trellis entered open beta this fall in partnership with the GovAI Coalition, a base of 800+ local, state, and federal agencies united in the mission to promote responsible and purposeful AI in the public sector.
We are recruiting for a UI / UX developer to support frontend development of the marketplace as we prepare for our public launch. The main responsibilities for this role will be constructing user journeys and design iterations in the leadup to and following our public launch. The successful candidate(s) may also propose novel projects to support this work, including: AI risk assessment, audits, model transparency & disclosure.
