Job Description

The UX Team at Snke is responsible for designing the user experience for a variety of clinical applications and hospital systems. We are looking for a User Experience Designer (UX/UI) with a passion for creating visually compelling, intuitive, and high-performance medical software — including applications in Mixed Reality and 3D visualization — that are both beautiful and easy to use.

As a User Experience Designer (UX/UI) your responsibilities will be

  • from concept development, information architecture, and interaction design, to polished user interface design. For this position, UI and visual design excellence are essential, with strong skills in designing for 3D and MR environments.
  • to discuss, communicate, specify, and create design solutions such as wireframes, prototypes, mockups, style guides, and 3D/MR interface concepts.
  • to work closely with cross-functional product teams on multiple ongoing projects in parallel and to synchronize with the User Experience Design team.

Qualifications

  • Education in user experience design, interaction design, communication design, media technology/design, human factors engineering, graphic design or related discipline, or equivalent working experience
  • Passion for both conceptual work and visual design, with a strong eye for detail and a flair for immersive 3D and MR interfaces
  • Affinity for complex, technical products
  • Excellent skills with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, plus familiarity with 3D content creation tools (e.g., Godot, Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine) is a must
  • Great communication skills for a high level of interaction with a variety of stakeholders
  • High self-sufficiency and multi-project juggling abilities
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design
  • Compelling portfolio with work samples showcasing UX methodology, UI design skills, and MR/3D projects
  • Proficiency in English; conversational German would be a plus
