As an Experience Design Senior Associate within the Design System team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative, inclusive, and accessible solutions that align user needs with business goals. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the design, architecture, and functionality of our products, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers.
Job responsibilities
- Build relationships with designers to drive adoption of the design system
- Partner with designers, engineers, and product owners to apply and evolve design patterns and components
- Facilitate workshops and trainings, and deliver presentations to peers and leaders
- Write, maintain, and improve UX documentation
- Design and develop elegant solutions to interaction problems, ensuring consistency across products and platforms
- Apply advanced knowledge of information architecture and storyboarding to create user-centric designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate inclusive design principles and accessibility guidelines
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Three years in a user experience design or equivalent role dedicated to improving digital product experiences
- Proven ability using Figma, including crafting libraries, components, variables, and advanced features
- Demonstrated experience designing and optimizing user experiences across web, mobile, and other digital channels
- Previous experience interpreting complex data and transforming it into actionable insights
- Proficient understanding of inclusive design principles, accessibility guidelines, and assistive technologies
- Capable of independent decision-making and taking direction
- Articulates design rationale persuasively in verbal and written communications
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language to aid collaboration with engineering partners
- Ability to craft illustrations and other forms of visual communication
- Knowledgeable in the design of both web and native mobile experiences
- History of working with or in design system teams
